Nathan Thorneycroft


Nathan Thorneycroft has been performing, instructing, competing and choreographing Salsa, Bachata, Reggaeton & Hip Hop for over 7 years. His performances and choreography’s have featured at various events and venues locally and internationally such as the New York Big Apple Salsa Festival, Australian Dance Festival, the Sydney Latin Festival, Melbourne Latin Festival, Canberra Latin Festival and many more. Most recognised for his enthusiasm, fusion of latin and street styles and his ability to be versatile, Nathan has become an integral part of both the performing and teaching fraternity in Australia.
With a keen musical ear he is in high demand on the social dance floor and also a sought after Latin DJ in the Latin Dance scene. Playing everywhere from the Sydney Latin Festival, The Latin Club, Synergy Salsa events, Mad About Mambo, Club London and much more. In his regular mixes you can be sure to hear his blend of New York, Jazz and Puerto Rican Style Salsa alongside some Bachata, Cha, Zouk and his favourite old school Mambo’s.
Nathan’s expertise is also sort after for judging at events such as the Local & International Divisions of the Salsa Solo competition, the Australian Salsa Open and various local Melbourne dance  competitions.
Whether on stage, in a class, behind a dj booth or on the social dance floor Nathan’s personality and enthusiasm for what he does is second to none!

Brooke Gittings
From competing, performing to business and development, Brooke Gittings is a true professional in the Australian Dance Industry. Starting her career over 16 years ago in some of Melbourne’s most prominent dance studios, Brooke has developed herself along with numerous dancers in Australia.

Some of her credits include winning three state titles, current director of Melbourne Dance Hub, qualified Pilates instructor plus numerous national and international performances.
Renowned for her high energy and ability to captivate an audience on stage, Brooke has climbed the ranks within the Salsa industry. Brooke’s passion for Salsa has seen her train with some of the worlds best including 2 x world champion Anya Katsevman and Thomas Guerrero (Santo Rico dance Company NYC). This passion has also lead to the stage in New York City where her choreography was performed in front of the World’s best at the Big Apple Salsa Festival. Brooke is also an integral part of many dance crews in Melbourne including Burn Collective, Epic and Spark. Brooke has also been a dancer for The Cat Empire world tour and featured in their music video “Steal the light”.

Brooke continues to share the stage with the world’s best as well as develop and inspire with her energy and infectious personality.
